How do I fix a skewed scan?

There's a few things you can do about skewed scans:

  1. Adjust the scan by double clicking it. Doxie's app automatically compensates for skew, but sometimes it can be a bit off. Adjust the rotation and cropping to correct.
  2. Ensure you're inserting pages into Doxie without an angle. Watch the video below for a few tips.

Insert paper to the left, face up, and level.

  1. Start by inserting your paper quickly, until it stops. Hold it until Doxie grabs it. This is called prefeeding.
  2. For the best results prefeeding, support both sides of the page so the document is grabbed squarely.
  3. If you hear Doxie prefeed before you've fully inserted the page, remove it, and try again.
  4. Make sure you're feeding your page straight and level into Doxie. Don't feed the page from a high angle.
