How do I add new local and cloud apps?

Customize software options by selecting Doxie > Preferences (Mac) or Edit > Preferences (Windows) from the the menu.

To add local apps:

  1. Select the Local Apps tab.
  2. Add new apps. Be sure you've installed them first!
  3. Set the format you want to use for that particular app.

You can then use the Send button in the main window to deliver scans to apps.

Tip: Evernote is considered a local app, not a cloud app. To use Evernote, be sure to install the Mac or PC software, then make sure it's on the list.

Tip: OneNote is a cloud app, not a local app. Set up OneNote in the Cloud Apps pane.

To add cloud apps:

  1. Select the Cloud Apps tab.
  2. Add new apps. All cloud apps are built-in.
  3. Set any additional options.

You can then use the Cloud button in the main window to deliver scans to apps.

Tip: Dropbox is a cloud app. Be sure to install Dropbox's software.
