Scan glossy and fragile items

Doxie is designed to feed most paper items directly – insert it straight, level, and to the left, and the scanner will capture it automatically.

However, there's a few items that Doxie's feeder might have trouble with – notably, very glossy photos, very thin receipts, and tattered old documents.

For these kinds of documents, use Doxie's included photo sleeve. The sleeve acts as a carrier for your document -- put your original in the sleeve, then feed it into the scanner.

If you document is too big for the included photo sleeve, you can also order full size carrier sheets that are well suited for use with Doxie.
