Scanning photos with Doxie Q
Photos can be fed through either the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) or through Doxie’s Direct Feed slot in back.
Using the Automatic Document Feeder
If you’re using the ADF, make sure all your photos are the same size and insert a maximum of 3-4 photos at a time.
In most cases, you can use the Automatic Document Feeder. However, if your original is particularly thick, use the Direct Feed slot instead.
Using Direct Feed slot
Insert face down, aligned to the left arrow printed on the Direct Feed slot.
Scanning fragile photos
Doxie Q includes a protective photo scanning sleeve that’s great for scanning fragile or damaged old photos. Slip in your original, then insert the sleeve into either the Automatic Document Feeder or the Direct Feed slot. If you photo is particularly thick, use the Direct Feed slot.
