How can I send OCR text from my scans to my application?

Doxie includes optical character recognition (OCR) technology from ABBYY. The Doxie software generates searchable text from your scans when you save a scan using the PDF w/ OCR option.

If you would like to use the text in another application (e.g., word processing document, database, spreadsheet, contact list), simply copy and paste the text from the PDF into your application.
