How do I scan mixed originals?

Only scan stacks of paper that are the same width. If you mix different paper sized in the ADF, your pages won't fit snugly between the paper guides and are much more likely to skew.

Using the ADF

Make sure the paper guides are adjusted to fit your paper and make sure the paper is under the guide’s tabs.

Using Direct Feed

For items that are too narrow to fit snugly between the paper guides (such as business cards and small receipts), use the Direct Feed slot in the back.

Insert your paper into the Direct Feed slot against the guide on the left of the arrow. Put the page into the slot straight and level, and don't feed the page from a high angle. For the best results in feeding, support both sides of the page and hold it until Doxie grabs it so the document is grabbed squarely.
