How do I find Doxie's IP on my local network?

If you are on Doxie's own network, Doxie is always at its default IP address 10.10.100.1. Join Doxie's Wi-Fi network, then type in http://10.10.100.1 to launch the web interface.

If you've configured Doxie to connect to your local Wi-Fi network, Doxie's IP address is assigned by your network's DHCP server. It will look like 4 numbers separated by periods (e.g., 192.168.1.100).

There are a couple ways to find Doxie's IP address:

  1. The easiest way is to use Doxie's Desktop App. Join a device to the same local network Doxie is on, and the app automatically finds Doxie on your network. Go to Preferences and click on the Wi-Fi tab. Doxie's IP address is listed beside the scanner icon on the scanner list.
  2. In most cases, your router's web interface will have a list of devices connected to the network. Doxie will be listed. The way to find this information is different from each brand of routers, but in general, look for information about DHCP clients. Consult your router's documentation for specific instructions.
