Why is the date wrong on my scans?

Doxie Go doesn't have an internal clock. So, it doesn't actually know the time you scanned a document. If you access your scans directly without using the Doxie app, they'll have a default date.

If you're asking this, you're likely not accessing your scans the way we designed it. Don't access the scans directly on Doxie or an SD card – instead, bring your scans into Doxie app. Doxie’s software copies the documents and photos in from Doxie, then makes it easy to organize, stack, save, and share your scans.
