Which SD cards & USB flash drives work with Doxie Go?
Using SD cards with Doxie Go
Doxie Go supports SD and SDHC cards, with a maximum size of 32 GB. Larger capacity SDXC cards aren't supported by Doxie Go (which Doxie model do I have?). A simple, low capacity SD card will fit thousands of scans.
SD cards can be used with Doxie Go Wi-Fi, however Doxie’s wireless system can’t read the SD card slot. If you use an SD card with Doxie Go Wi-Fi, your scans will be stored there instead of internal memory, but you’ll need to take out that card and insert it into your computer to access your scans.
Using USB flash drives with Doxie Go
Doxie Go models that do not have built-in Wi-Fi also have a port for USB flash drives. You can use most any USB flash drive under 32GB in capacity.
Troubleshooting
Doxie Go will flash rapidly if it can't write to or access your inserted memory. Some tips if your SD card or USB flash drive doesn't work:
- SD cards and USB flash drives must be formatted as MS-DOS (FAT) format.
- Make sure there’s enough space for your scans, and that the storage device is firmly inserted.
- For SD cards, make sure the card isn't locked.
- The SD card should be Speed Class 4 or above.
- If your memory doesn't work, try reformatting it (FAT32 format).
- Don't use USB hard drives. Only solid state memory is supported.
- Occasionally, we find a brand of SD card or USB flash drive that just doesn't work. Try another card or drive to see if your particular device is the cause of the issue.
