My Doxie Pro isn't responding.
Sleep Mode
Doxie Pro goes into sleep mode after 15 minutes of inactivity to conserve energy. However, the scanner will remain active for the next 4 hours until it powers down completely. When sleeping, press any button on the control panel to wake Doxie up.

If Doxie Pro's control panel isn't responding...
Mostly likely: Doxie's software either isn't installed, or it isn't running. Doxie Pro must be used alongside its companion software. If the software isn't open on your computer, nothing will happen when you tap the Scan button on Doxie's control panel. Follow these steps to make sure you're connected and ready to start scanning.
Doxie Pro isn't properly connected to your computer. Doxie Pro must be connected to power and your computer in order to scan. Check that both cords are firmly inserted. Double-check that the outlet you're using to power Doxie Pro is working. *If Doxie Pro is on, but you still see "No Scanner Connected" in Doxie's software, check out this article for more information.
Perform a hard reset of your Doxie Pro. If Doxie Pro's control panel is completely unresponsive despite being fully connected to your computer, try unplugging your scanner and plugging it back in.
