Why is the date wrong on my scans?
Doxie Q has an internal clock that is used when setting the creation date of scan files. Most users – those who import scans into Doxie's app – do not need to set the internal clock.
If you're asking this, you're likely not accessing your scans the way we designed it. We recommend skipping accessing the scans directly on Doxie – instead, bring your scans into Doxie app. Doxie’s software copies the documents and photos in from Doxie, then makes it easy to organize, stack, save, and share your scans.
That said, users who choose to access their scans directly from the SD card versus using the Doxie software may wish to set the internal clock so that scan files have the correct creation dates. Here's how to set the clock.
