My document jammed in the middle of a scan
If Doxie jams or stops during a scan, pull up on the interior cover, remove the paper, and try scanning again. Be sure to use the paper guides and put your paper under the small nubs.
If Doxie continues to jam:
- For pages that are particularly wrinkled or stiffly folded together (such as a stack just taken out of a small envelope), flatten the sheets before scanning.
- Some thick or textured documents may not feed well through the automatic feeder. Feed the sheet with the Direct Feed slot instead.
- Clean Doxie’s rollers and separation pad. Try cleaning Doxie with the included microfiber cleaning cloth. After scanning for a while, dust can become stuck on Doxie’s rollers and separation pad, causing paper jams.
