Important notes about keeping safe with Doxie Pro.

• Avoid direct sunlight. Direct exposure to the sun or excessive heat could damage your scanner.
• Protect from dust. Keep Doxie's top cover and direct feed slot closed when not in use.
• Doxie doesn’t like it rough. Treat Doxie with care.
• Only use Doxie Pro's included power supply. Using a different power supply could cause damage to your scanner, fire, electrical shock, or injury. Do not use Doxie if the power supply is damaged or wet.
• No tinkering. Never ever disassemble, modify, or attempt to repair the scanner, power supply, or any other part of the product by yourself. If you have an issue, we’re just an email away.
• Avoid unstable surfaces. Only use Doxie on a secure, even, flat surface. Tilted or uneven surfaces could cause mechanical issues or problems feeding paper.
• Practice safe storage. Unplug Doxie if you know you won’t be using it for a long period of time. Better yet, tuck Doxie into a safe spot for storage to protect from dust, heat, sunlight, etc.
• Not a toy. Keep the scanner, power supply, accessories, plastic bags, and packing material out of the reach of children to avoid the risk of injury or suffocation.
