Inserting sheets

Doxie grabs your paper automatically using a feature called prefeeding. By prefeeding Doxie can ensure proper alignment of your paper while feeding your paper through with its internal rollers:

• Insert paper quickly until it stops and hold it in until Doxie grabs the paper. If you hear Doxie prefeed before you’ve fully inserted the paper, remove the paper and try again.
• When Doxie successfully grabs your sheet you know you’re ready to scan.
• For the best results feeding photos/documents, make sure you support the left side of the page as Doxie is pre-feeding, so the page is grabbed squarely.
• For feeding smaller photos through Doxie, use the included protective photo sheets. Larger photo prints should run through just fine without a protective sheet.
