Doxie won't stay connected

If Doxie isn't showing up as connected, or won't stay consistently connected, check the following:

  1. Doxie's cable is fully inserted into the back of the scanner. It's a tight fit -- wiggle the cable while pushing it into the back of the scanner. It may take a bit of force since the cable is recessed into the back of the scanner in order to provide a secure connection.
  2. Doxie is connected to a built-in powered USB port on your computer, not through a keyboard or unpowered hub.
