Plastic ID Cards

Always scan plastic ID cards with Doxie's direct feed slot. Don't scan thick items like ID cards with Doxie's ADF.

When scanning a plastic ID card, make sure it’s aligned with the direct feed slot's slightly angled plastic guide. The feeder has been designed this way to avoid distortion when scanning thick plastic. Angling the item a little bit can result in better image quality for extra thick items. Doxie's desktop software will automatically straighten your scan.
