Which Feeder Should I Use?
Short answer is, it depends. If your paper has has straight edges, is longer and wider than 2", and isn't thicker than everyday paper/fragile/overly wrinkled, then using the ADF will likely be your best bet.
The direct feed will lend itself nicely to most everything else.
Best rule of thumb is, when in doubt, try the other feeder.
IMPORTANT: Remove all staples, paper clips, labels, stickers, and sticky notes before scanning. Do not scan documents with wet ink, white-out, glue, crayon, or glitter. Attempting to scan such items could cause paper jams, damage the inside of your scanner, and void Doxie's warranty.
