Pick Roller replacement
Do I need a replacement pick roller?
Doxie's rubber pick roller moves to “grab” single sheets of paper from a stack. It may need to be replaced if you start to see recurring feeding issues that did not routinely occur previously (specifically, double feeding or paper not starting to feed at all). We estimate that the pick roller has a 100,000 scan life before it needs to be replaced (that's a lot of scans!).
You can take out the roller (see the installation instructions below) and observe little bits of rubber wearing off – as more rubber wears off, the roller eventually wears out and needs to be replaced.
